The Hudson Sports Complex, Inc. went before the Pasco Board of County Commissioners, asking for some direction to move forward with this project. Although we would have liked the county to move 1 million dollars of the 30 million they have for county projects, we only asked to open talks with the county. We were prepared to build the entire site without any county monies!
Our commissioners told ME that they had to many things on their plate to consider another project?! Excuse me, isn't that what we pay them to do! The last statement, question, I was allowed to ask was " Can you tell me how to procede with this idea/project?"
They called for the next item on the agenda without giving us any thought what so ever.
This project was going to bring in millions of dollars and jobs to West Pasco!
